In our  maths group we played a game and the game tests your place value.

This is how the game  goes each player gets 6  cards  then each  card gets

 put down one by one  they have to say the number   lets say that one person 

 had 33 and the other 28 the person that said there number right and has the highest number

wins the fake money I found this game  fun it was hard because you have to make the highest number

Kiwi can 17.3.2021

At kiwi can we have been leaning to co-operate This week we played a game called: Bear, Salmon, Mosquito. The game goes like this: the bear beats the salmon, the salmon the beats the Mosquito, and the Mosquito beats the bear. There are two groups and they have to decide which animal they will battle the other team with. If they chose the wrong one that will lose😊.

This week in wirting we have been leaning to a wirte a haika poem they things that the first line there are 5 syllables the next line has 7 syllables and the last line will have 5 syllables

Maths strategy animation

we have been learning the maths strategy turn an subtraction in to an addition. One of the tasks we had to do was work in pairs to create an animation my pair was Maya so that we could share our leaning we need to work on making more slides. I enjoyed this because its my favourite maths my favourite part was choosing the background. What do you think of our animation?

This week we have learning to take notes and record information from videos and texts. One of our reading tasks was to read and research information about mercury and Venus our notes had to be in our own words then we had to take our notes and put them in to a fact file about Mercury and Venus I enjoyed this because we got to take notes and turn them in to a fact file How do you think I cold make it better?
